Maryland: Dnr Conducts Yellow Perch Fishing Survey
ANNAPOLIS - The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Service will conduct a sport fishing survey in three selected watersheds through late March. The information gathered from recreational anglers will specifically target yellow perch during their late winter/early spring spawning runs.
Anglers will be asked to describe the effort, catch and residence of their yellow perch fishing activity for the day. They will also have to opportunity to voice their opinions and level of satisfaction with the current perch fishery, DNR said in a news release.
