Ringgold Angler Prepares for Bassmaster Championship

Kim Stapp from Ringgold, Ga. is preparing for one of the biggest bass tournaments of her career. Stapp, known as "BassBullet" on the Chattanooga Fishing Forum, qualified as a co-angler in the Feb. 21-23 Women?s Bassmaster Tour Championship. The top co-angler prize is $34,500 in cash and merchandise.

Two other Tennessee women, Dianna Clark from Bumpus Mills and Cindy Hill from Smyrna are qualified for the event in the professional division.

Practiced and primed for the Feb. 21-23 Women?s Bassmaster Tour Championship presented by Academy Sports & Outdoors, all 12 professional contenders have a good grasp of what they?ll need to do to win their $60,000 top prize.

The Lake Keowee event out of Greenville, S.C., is in conjunction with the Feb. 22-24 Bassmaster Classic on nearby Lake Hartwell. read more
